Training and Technical Assistance (TTA)

During the COVID-19 pandemic, CHJ stands ready to meet your TTA needs through use of our virtual platforms. We have years of experience working with communities using both visual and telephone technologies and can convene, lead, and facilitate meetings to help you start-up or continue with your systems change efforts.

Our training and technical assistance (TTA) solutions combine field-specific best practices, research, innovation, science, and clinical experience to build customized solutions for communities. We specialize where behavioral health (substance use disorders, mental health) intersects with criminal justice, juvenile justice, and youth and family systems.

CHJ works from a problem-solution orientation to provide world-class TTA customized for each and every community in which we work. We understand that listening first, and knowing the local context for justice and behavioral health solutions, is critical to developing approaches that fit exactly for a given jurisdiction.

We do not use “off-the-shelf” products; rather, we work in partnership with jurisdictions to create customized strategies that ensure fidelity to the research while also remaining adaptive to the given context. In this way, we help deliver tangible results grounded in science and applicable to real life.
