Treatment Capacity
As communities across the country face crises of drug addiction and overdose, the need for timely access to quality, evidence-based treatment for people with substance use disorders is clear and pressing.
In almost all the work we do, the following question comes up in some way or another: “Deflect/divert to what?” In fact, across the systems work for which CHJ is known—whether deflection, diversion, or reentry—treatment capacity is a problem to be solved in order for a given initiative to be scaled. CHJ brings unmatched experience in this area, including having developed a nationally regarded approach to assist communities in assessing and strengthening their treatment capacity.
We support community leaders, local planning groups, and their partners in initiating collaborative efforts to assess capacity for community-based substance use disorder treatment and related services, address gaps in services, and deliver coordinated care.
