Courts and Probation
In partnership with the National Judicial College and leading national experts in addiction, treatment, and criminogenic risk-needs, CHJ brings to bear its nationally recognized Justice Leaders Systems Change Initiative (JLSCI) to assist local court teams in thinking about, planning, and implementing solutions from a systems perspective to best address people with substance use disorders. This includes a range of possible options, all appropriate for the local context of the court team and reaching to law enforcement, prosecutors, jails, probation, parole, and even prisons as part of the overall systems strategy.
