Sydney Goggins received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology and Law from DePaul University in 2019. Sydney went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2022 with a concentration in Human Rights Law.
Sydney provided pro-bono legal services at the Center for Disability and Elder Law in a wide range of legal issues including adult guardianship, estate planning, eviction, and elder abuse. Sydney went on to represent indigenous parents in child custody proceedings at the Indian Child Welfare Act Clinic. After graduating law school, Sydney worked as a Policy Advisor at the Mayor’s Office in the Public Safety Department in Chicago, overseeing and creating policy for the Chicago Fire Department, the Office of Emergency Management and Communications, and the CARE Program.
Sydney is a licensed attorney in Illinois and worked as a family law attorney.
