As Senior Program Manager specializing in Communications and Outreach Catherine Greer oversees development and delivery of communications marketing, civic outreach, and community engagement consulting, strategies, and tools as part of the Bureau of Justice Assistance’s Second Chance Act Corrections and Community Engagement Technical Assistance Center. Catherine supports and coordinates with TTA center Program Managers and external Subject Matter Experts to expand the field’s thought leadership.
Spending her career working marginalized communities in rural and urban communities. Catherine brings a wealth of knowledge from peer support recovery models, case management, advocacy, program launching, and TTA.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Saint Ambrose University, a Master of Arts in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University, and is currently a student at Fielding Graduate University pursuing a PhD in Psychology with an emphasis on media and technology. Catherine is also certified social media marketing and project management which allows her to help grantees navigate not only in person, but also emerging digital outreach trends.
