As Program Manager for the National Deflection TA Center, Kelly brings a diverse background to her work, having gained experience in corrections, community-based participatory research, and behavioral health. She has worked extensively in criminal justice-based programming, facilitating the launch of the local Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program (L.E.A.D.).
Kelly has dedicated a large portion of her career to engaging law enforcement with other community stakeholders to advocate for Naloxone distribution and the linkage of individuals to evidence-based care and services, prioritizing alternatives to incarceration. Additionally, Kelly is an active participant in her local law enforcement peer wellness team and serves on the governing board of the county Crisis Intervention Team (CIT).
She holds a master’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in forensic psychology from Tiffin University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio University.
