As a program manager, Liz provides consultation, training, and technical assistance (TTA) to corrections and community-based recipients of Second Chance Act grants as part of CHJ’s Bureau of Justice Assistance TTA Center. In collaboration with Center partners, she provides consulting to Center grantees to ensure their action plans, individual TTA plans, goals, and milestones are fulfilled.
Liz has a diverse background in social work, housing, research, and evaluation. Prior to serving in her current position, she has worked in TASC’s rapid re-housing program and on federally-funded research projects. Through TASC’s collaboration with Texas Christian University (TCU) on the national Justice Community Opioid Innovation Network (JCOIN), which is part of the NIH HEAL Initiative, Liz has gathered information to improve public health and safety outcomes for individuals reentering communities post-incarceration who use opioids or are at risk for using them. She has also delivered interventions to justice-involved youths and their families in Illinois through TCU’s Leveraging Safe Adults (LeSA) initiative.
Liz holds a Bachelor's degree in social work (BSW) from Saint Francis University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.
